In the spring and summer of 2020, we found ourselves at home on the west coast with a freshly freed schedule. We decided to make lemonade out of the tangy circumstances and made plans to hit some trails, frolic amongst the waterfalls, and play music around the ol’ campfire. The first time both duos met up it was a busy weekend and the only available car camping we could find was at a nearby horse camp in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, hence the working name of our collaboration and the title of this album.  “Horse Camp” is a collection of songs and tunes largely inspired by the northwest, mostly written in early 2020 and recorded in the fall at the OK Theatre with Bart Budwig in Enterprise, OR.
